Spreading the word...

One event at a time! If you've read my Message from the President...and why wouldn't you???....you know that the CMNA purchased a canopy, table runners and vinyl banners, and rack cards so that we can attend festivals and set up a table or two (kindly donated by my wife and Dave Eslinger)  to share with the public what we do and learn about as Master Naturalists.

You may also remember a few months ago, Master Naturalists from across the State were invited to attend a training session from SCDNR, and those of you that attended that training, myself included, are now part of a team of SCDNR/CMNA volunteers that are able to volunteer on SCDNR properties as 'roving naturalists' and attend specific SCDNR tabling events.

A few weeks ago I was able to accept a very generous donation of table top goodies from the SCDNR with which our SCDNR team can attend tabling events, but the CMNA is also adding to its own table top items, too.

This year we've been able to attend the Bulls Bay Festival, the Pollinator Festival at Ashley River Park, the Public Lands Day celebration at the Mt Pleasant REI (SCDNR), and the Lowcountry 4-H Convention Community Resources Fair at the Clemson Learning Center at the Citadel Mall.

Still to come is the annual Big Sit and the Hope Summit!
That's where we need your help!! Please help us out by volunteering for these events so we can put our massive talents and resources to work! Watch out for those volunteer requests when they come through.
