In a giving mood?...
April in the Lowcountry is something special! With flowers in full bloom, trees coming back to life, and wildlife becoming more active, it’s a vivid reminder of the beauty and importance of the natural world, especially as we approach Earth Day. It’s also the perfect opportunity to invest in the next generation of environmental stewards and strengthen the impact of our work across the Lowcountry.
Through the Awards and Charitable Donations Fund, we’ve been able to make a meaningful difference in our community. In 2025 alone, your support helped us:
• Sponsor a Birds of Prey presentation for local students in rural Dorchester District 4
• Partner with Charleston County Parks & Recreation to host a Jr. Master Naturalist program at Caw Caw Interpretive Center
• Provide nature journals to youth participating in environmental programs
• Collaborate with SC Audubon to support their youth education efforts
• Purchase rack cards that will be used to share information about the mission of both the ACDC and CMNA
These initiatives are only possible because of members like you!
This April, we invite you to join us in continuing and growing this impact. Your donation will directly support youth environmental education, community partnerships, and conservation outreach in the Lowcountry.
No gift is too small. Every contribution helps us connect more people to nature and inspire stewardship in meaningful ways.

Thank you for your continued dedication to inspiring the next generation of nature lovers and environmental stewards.

The Awards & Charitable Donations Committee
