Well done, Coastal Master Naturalist Volunteers!
As you probably know, the SC Master Naturalist program recently released the results of their yearly roundup of how the six Master Naturalist groups in SC did as far as volunteer hours, and the social and economic impact those volunteer hours had during the fiscal year, which runs from June 30th, 2024 - July 1st, 2025.
I'm happy to say that Mallory Maher, the MN Program Coordinator at Clemson University, shared with me that the Coastal Master Naturalist Association had THE MOST recorded volunteer hours by a very long way!
Together, our volunteer hours were logged at 8,035.5 with 24,547 people reached!
Not that it's a competition, but that's amazing, and proof that we have the most active...and dare I say best...MN Association in SC!
Of course, we have a fantastic team that brings us all together, and none of it could be done without the collaborations of our partners that we support through our volunteer activities.
We're not stopping either, as we will be adding more volunteer opportunities in the coming days, weeks and months, so stay tuned and let's see if we can do even better in this coming year!
Also, remember to ALWAYS record your volunteer hours and keep up the great volunteer work :)
