Congratulations Spring graduates!
June 1st saw us celebrate the successful graduation of the 2025 Spring Class of 2025 Master Naturalists!
We had a great turn out of graduates, Board Members, and members to welcome the new class in to the "tribe"!
Proceedings were lead by Kristina and Colin after a shared pot-luck lunch, and Board Members that were present were asked to introduce themselves so that our new Association Members could put names to those very important volunteers that keep the Association moving forward!
The day culminated with a friendly competition in the form of a very interactive treasure hunt which was devised by CMNA Past President Dave Eslinger and Kristina. Using the iNaturalist app, we broke into groups that had to find predetermined numbers of naturally occurring treasures like, grasses, fungi, insects, etc.!
Of course, we were all winners! Most of us that participated were very new to using the App, so the learning was the reward, although we all promised ourselves to use the app more...especailly before the next 'competition'!!!
Well done graduates. We look forward to seeing you on future outings and participating in the Association!
