Caw Caw's expansion...
Early January gave us our first outing of the year, led by Caw Caw's manager, Dennis Burgart.
Dennis was kind enough to introduce about 20 MNs to the new section of Caw Caw Intepretive Center which is not yet open to the public.
It was a very informative morning, where we were able to walk the property, see the old kennels which now house a bat colony, and several areas where there were obvious signs of prior habitants.
There's still some work needed before the area opens to the public, so we were very thankful to have this beautiful section of Caw Caw to ourselves for a few hours!
