The Big Sit...
The Big Sit was another successful birding day at James Island County Park on Saturday, October 4th.
In all, during our day at the park we identified 37 species, including some of these photographed! The highlight, possibly the sightings of a Northern Harrier and a Peregrine Falcon (above), both of which were high in the sky!
We also had 39 human visitors for the day!
Thanks to all that visited and the volunteers from the CMNA that helped,, but special thanks to the Big Sit organizer, CCPRC's Natural History Interpreter, Kristina Wheeler.
